Burncoat Street Playground is the northern most public park in Worcester. Located between Burncoat Street and West Boylston Street, this park offers activities such as basketball, tennis and volleyball, as well as a playground. Burncoat Street Playground is also fairly close to Kendrick Field.
The Burncoat Street Playground has play structures for kids of all ages. Whether kids want to swing, slide, climb or just run around, parents can relax on a shady bench while the little ones burn off some energy.
You'll feel like you can play your best games on these amazing courts! Both the basketball court and tennis court are paved and nicely maintained so that you can focus on improving your skills. The Tacoma Street Playground is an almost 19-acre park located just north of the Great Brook Valley Housing Complex. It is just west of the Poor Farm Brook, close to the West Boylston line. The Tacoma Street Playground features a playground, two basketball courts and a picnic area.
Indian Lake Beach is located on the eastern bank of Indian Lake, once known as North Pond. Although it has an interesting past, today, activities on Indian Lake include boating (motorized and non-motorized), swimming and fishing.
This park is the home of the Joe Schwartz little league. It also has a softball field, baseball field, two little league fields, basketball court, multi-purpose field and a playground. The multi-purpose field is used mostly for soccer and football games, depending on the time of year.
