MOMENT OF SILENCE in memory of Daniel Herlihy, who passed away Sunday, January 14th, 2018 at the age of 88. Mr. Herlihy was a strong advocate for various Irish organizations, and served two terms on City Council in the 1980’s.

Request City Manager report to City Council concerning the feasibility and affordability of initiating a project in which an appropriate van or truck is used as a "City Hall to Go" in order to deliver municipal services to neighborhoods, especially aiding those who can't get downtown or go online. A similar program in which, among others, residents can pay parking tickets and tax bills, get a library card and dog license, even register to vote, has been thriving in Boston. (Rosen)

Request City Manager report to City Council if there are any programs in place or being developed to assist both residential and business tenants (many minority businesses) at-risk of displacement due to development downtown, and share what staff member acts as point person for any issues. Request City Manager provide City Council with an update as to the legal status of any state-wide ban, as well as bans of other cities and towns dealing with the elimination of plastic trash bags, which is similar to an order that was adopted by this City Council on May 23, 2017. (Lukes)
